Rough around the edges, raw, old-timey. My simple excursion finds me with my Comers Deluxe 225 Pot, (an estate pipe that I recently restored myself) smartly clutched, rolling with a vigorous bowl of Gawith, Hoggarth & Companys Kendal Kentucky. I wish this had been the first pipe tobacco blend I ever tried. Despite the shag-cut, it burns fairly cool with zero bite. The floral taste gets a little old by the bottom of the bowl. Its very very very cigary. It's a surprisingly complex blend for being just straight Kentucky. I prefer strong tobacco and I appreciate great flavor.
